ACE February Green Cafe
February 14 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Join us from 10.30-11.15am to chat in small groups about topical issues over Fairtrade tea, coffee and biscuits.
From 11.15:
- Feedback from group discussions
- Hear about our campaigns in collaboration with Friends of the Earth, for example, on Planet over Profit – which is focused on a new law that will force UK companies and the public sector to prevent human rights abuses and environmental harm, like deforestation, in their supply chains. You can add your name now to help us hold UK companies to account for destruction to forests, communities and the environment around the world here.
- Get more involved with running ACE: join our steering group, work on keeping this website current and consider becoming Chair of our steering group – find out more by emailing us at: acesettleandarea@gmail.com
From 12 Noon: summary of actions for early 2026 to take forward and notices.
Available throughout the morning: a recycling box for blister packs (only available at Green Cafes, so please come into the Cafe and use the recycling box rather than leaving blister packs in the foyer of the Methodist Church). A bag for used toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes.
Find out more about borrowing our thermal imaging camera for seeking out those draughty places in need of insulation to help cut your energy bills.
This is a free event, all welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.
