March’s Green Cafe

Find out what you can do and what’s happening locally regarding cutting our carbon in our energy production and use as well in our transport.

This is an in-person event at Settle Victoria Hall: 10am – 1pm.

A Covid responsible event –we want everyone attending this event to be Covid safe. We are still ‘living with Covid’, so please wear a mask & use hand sanitiser – unless you have been in an ‘exempt group’.

If you experience Covid symptoms on the morning, please stay home.

Masks & hand sanitiser will be available.

  • Paul Kelly (ACE Energy Group): Home Energy Generation with Helen Seagrave (Community Manager Electricity NW) community energy planning
  • Dave Mann (TLS Energy): Settle Hydro What Next?

10-10.30 and 11.30-12.30) – Stalls : ideas and advice from groups including: ACE Themed Groups, Settle TC, Craven DC, Settle Hydro, Settle Pool, TLS Energy, Electricity NW, electric car owners, Settle Methodist Eco Group, Northern, Settle Carlisle Rly Dev Co, Friends of Settle Carlisle Rly, Dales Bus, Yorkshire Housing, Stefan Sykes Rural Business Development Officer, Craven Community Land Trust with feedback from the Settle What’s Not to Like event & opportunity for us to comment further. There will also be a ‘Recycle4Charity’ collection point for new or used cartridges (of any size)
