DESCRIPTION:Our March Green Cafe (timings at the end) will focus on what we can do to make Settle plastic free with an update of actions planned by the Settle Plastic Free group. \nMelanie  Fryer (ACE’s Food Group lead) will also introduce Greenpeace’s The Big Plastic Count\, taking place between 11th-17th March. Information about how to get involved with the count will be available on the day and you can sign-up below. \n  \n \nBig Plastic Count (11th-17th March) – run by Greenpeace in the UK. We would like as many of you as possible to get involved. Please sign-up here \nGreenpeace will then collate all responses and reveal the truth about everyday plastics. \nAs a result of the last Count\, in 2022\, Greenpeace discovered that only 12% of plastic is recycled.  Sign up on line and see what\, if anything\, has changed! \nEvent timings: \n10.30-11am: Cafe – chat over refreshments about topical issues and buy your fair trade rice towards our year long 90Kg rice challenge \n11am-12 Noon: Settle Plastic Free actions and signing up to Greenpeace’s Big Plastic Count \n12 Noon-12.30: ACE and other group actions\, notices and close
