The Big One – Calling for Action on the Climate Crisis

Climate change due to humankind’s activities is increasing which will lead to famines, migrations and instability. We are losing wild species of animals and plants at an increasing rate.

We are jointly hosting a stall with Churches Together outside the former Nat West, adjoining Settle market. This is in solidarity with the peaceful activities taking place later in the week (21st-24th) outside parliament, asking the government to do much more, and to act immediately.  e.g to help us insulate our houses better, to stop using our taxes for subsidising fossil fuels which are causing climate change.

Our groups would like to hear your views and share our information with you about the climate and biodiversity emergencies that we are in and what we are asking central government to do and why.
