Settle Great Big Green Week
June 10 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature, organised by the Climate Coalition. Taking place this year between 10th and 18th June you can join in with local organisations taking part.
Settle’s week starts…on Saturday 10th June (10.30-12.30) with our Green Cafe on soil health: https://acesettleandarea.org/event/the-importance-of-soil-health/
and ends on Friday 16th June with two Settle Community and Business Hub sessions on Wonderbags and haybox slow cooking. The first is a demonstration at the Quaker Meeting House (10-2pm) including lunch – no booking required.
The second, at Settle Victoria Hall Refreshment Gardens (4-8pm), will be part of a pop up free, family and dog friendly public living room and alcohol Temperance Bar, where you can pick up Wonderbags – of simple vegetarian and vegan soups and stews and information about cooking food using hayboxes. For further details see The Hub’s article, featured elsewhere in this edition.
