Ozone layer may recover in decades

The Ozone layer, which began depleting in the 1970s could recover within a few decades, scientists said in a U.N.backed report, see: https://ozone.unep.org/system/files/documents/Scientific-Assessment-of-Ozone-Depletion-2022-Executive-Summary.pdf. Ozone levels between the polar regions are expected to reach pre-1980 levels during the 2040s, if current policies continue, and ozone holes should also recover.
